I Just Donated to the Oregon East Symphony

April 1st, 2007 Posted in classical music

I feel like a Good Samaritaney sort of person this evening, after donating some cash to the poor old Oregon East Symphony whose offices burnt down two weeks ago. You can read about the fire at Kenneth Woods’ blog, how can you not love an orchestra who refer to themselves as the  “best goddamn redneck orchestra in the world”? If you can spare $10 or more (which is pretty much everyone reading this I bet) click on the donating link above to give them some love, and you’ll feel great for doing your bit to keep classical music healthy!
